Chicken baguette sandwich @ Dinelli Gourmet

P3290737
I’m now a big fan of this new resto in Burgos Circle in Forbes Town in Global City. The Dinelli Gourmet is a great discovery for me as they offer delicious food with herbs and cheese, they also sell different kind of cheese inside the resto and I read on the label some of it are in “buy one take one”. I’m really happy that my meeting was held there and thanks to the person who invited me on that meeting.

I tried this Chicken Baguette Sandwich, because the waiter told me that it is their best seller, I want to eat pasta yesterday, but they have a 1 or maybe 2 kinds of pasta with herbs on their menu. I love the taste of the Chicken Baguette Sandwich and also their fried fries, I enjoyed the freshly green veggies added in my chicken sandwich and at first I thought that the chicken will be roasted, but it shows the chicken were chopped to pieces and added with sandwich cream on their own recipe.

P3290735
For a price of P200, I am very satisfied, and one slice of the sandwich is already heavy for me. I took home the other half and brought it home for my wife, because I want her to try it.

I want to go back to Dinelli Gourmet and also visit new restos in Burgos Circle. I really love the place  and a must visit if you are a foodie!

PA130486
My first time to try the Kaldereta Kambing at Damaso restaurant in Greenbelt 5. I expected that it will be chili, but then I discovered the chili flavor is under that goat's bone and meat. My next visit is that I'll try the ostrich meat.

Pastel de Lengua (Conti's)

P9075066
I took this photo before I eat it and then forgot to take off that baked thing on top of my pastel de lengua. Now we can't see how the lengua looks like, I'm a little satisfied on this meal, because their servings are too small for me.

Pastel de lengua
Chunks of ox tongue, carrots and potatoes with mushroom sauce, deliciously eaten with flaky crust, served with Paella Rice

Mango Bravo cake (Conti's)

P9075075
Been hearing about this Mango Bravo of Contis, its a frozen cake with mango on top, priced at P120 per slice. We are planning to buy a whole cake that night but they say that we have 1 1/2 hour til it melts, But then we scrapped the idea and bought another cake, because I'm sure we will be stuck in traffic going back home. Mango Bravo cake is one of the best and favorite of many food lovers here at Contis.

Gyudon (Kurosawa resto, Resorts World Manila)

P9064939
I ordered this in Kurosawa, sounds like the name came from famous Japanese film maker Akira Kurosawa, but their menu and images will speak for it. I love raw egg in my gyudon, that's why I ordered this for my dinner after I saw a photo of it in their donburi set menu. I forgot how much is this, but I think it is around P250, the bowl is big and I love their cold ice tea, a bottomless drink for around P100 as I recall.

The beef strips are thick and the gyudon sauce is not salty or sweet.

Chili’s Big Mouth Burgers now upgraded to Deluxe

P8171265
Chili’s is back with a vengeance in delivering yummy burgers and special recipe flavor on their burger patty, plus the size becomes a lot bigger and launching the “Deluxe Big Mouth Burger”. At first I verbally tell my friends that I can eat that burger easy, but when I take some bite and found out that I can’t even finish my other half of the burger, so the big size is not for the ordinary burger lover, but that makes us happy, the bigger the better. Steak ala Dad, the best treat for Father's Day at Melo's Steakhouse

P6164923
Here's a good recommendation this coming Father's Day, last night I tried the special menu for this season at Melo's Steakhouse, and it's a perfect dinner meal for those people and family who will celebrate our Father's day and the Steal ala Dad just prepared this once a year and it is certified to make the man of the house melt with every bite of that steak. Steak ala Dad is the latest creation of Melo's that cooked up to commemorate all our dads for their hard work, dedication and love for their families. I'm really happy that I tasted and tried and as a first time dad, I just got my first Father's day meal in my life, but since I'm going to be a busy dad on Sunday and my family is not with me, I'm going to treat my wife and my son here at Melo's after my busy sched.

Santol Chutney Glazed Pork Chops @ Mario's

This is my premiere blog post for Food Pilipinas Blog and I like to welcome you here in my new blog dedicated for food, and we are here to feature food from Mario's Restaurant. Thanks to Spanky and the food bloggers group for inviting me and my wife to try the fine dining at Mario's Restaurant, and I heard that this resto started in Baguio City and now a there's a branch already here in Tomas Morato Q.C. Steaks, grills, wines and flaming desserts are one of the popular food here at Mario's.

We arrived late for the food session, and missed some of the meals, but I'm glad we still made it and tried their house specials and favorites.
