[Gardenia Recipes] Bread Treats Recipe for White Bread

We were given a privilege to share these awesome recipes provided by Gardenia during our plant tour last time.

Gardenia Maki rolls

 Quantity:               Ingredients:
6 slices                Gardenia Classic White Bread
1 can (184g)       Century Tuna Chunks in Water, drained
1/4 cup               Mayonnaise
1 tbsp                 red bell pepper, chopped
tbsp                    green onions, chopped
6 slices               cheese
                          salt and pepper to taste

1. Mix together tuna, mayonnaise, bell  pepper and onions. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

2. Spread mixture evenly over each slice of Gardenia Classic White Bread.

3. Place a slice of cheese then roll tightly.

4. Wrap roll in plastic wrap or aluminum foil and chill for at least 1 hour.

5. Slice into 1-inch pieces and serve cut-side-up to show filling.

Makes 6-12 rolls

Easy Quesadillas with Salsa Dip


Quantity:                  Ingredients:
18 slices                  Gardenia Classic White Bread
1/2 cup + 1 Tbsp     Mozzarella cheese, grated
1/2 cup                   chunky salsa, store bought

1. Trim off the brown edges in each slice of bread.

2. Spread one tablespoon of grated mozzarella cheese on one side of the bread. Cover with
another slice of bread.

3.Flatten each sandwich with cheese using  a rolling pin. Place each flattened sandwich in
a hot non stick pan. Toast each side until slightly brown in color.

4. Cut the quesadillas diagonally. Serve each traingular queasadillas with chunky salsa.

    Preparation Time: 10 minutes
    Cooking Time (if applicable): 10minutes (pan-toasting)
    Number of Servings per recipe: 18 triangular shaped quesadillas
